I was born in a bustling college town in the state of Iowa and reared without siblings. My life was predominantly quiet, but just as many who live shrouded in complacency do, I grew restless. I studied psychology at the University of Iowa for a year before I fell in love, moved to Hawaii, and took up my earliest passion: writing. Currently, I live a colorful life on beautiful Ford Island with my husband. I work and study at Hawaii Pacific University. While pursuing my English major and Writing minor, I moonlight as a writing mentor. If I'm not procrastinating I'm likely spending time with my cats, cooking, or watching Bob's Burgers reruns. In the future, I hope to relearn Latin, pet all the cats I can, and become the best person I can be.
